New managing partner announced
Daniel Hilaire has been appointed as the Managing partner of Grant
Thornton Amyot Georgia office effective January, 2010. Grant Thornton
Amyot is the leading auditing and advisory firm in the region, with
more than 130 staff in Georgia and Armenia.
Mr. Daniel Hilaire is
an expert in the field of finance and financial jurisprudence. He has
joined Grant Thornton as partner in 1998 and since than oversees
implementation of assurance assignments.
Mr. Hilaire is a
Chartered Accountant, and also a Licensed Financial Court Expert. Mr.
Hilarie has obtained a degree in Law at the University of Assas in
Paris in 1968. Later he attended the Dauphine University in Paris in
1971 and was awarded a degree in Management.
Mr. Hilaire
possesses all eminent qualities and highest professionalism both in
financial and legal fields and has extensive experience in
international banking and finance. Deep knowledge of banking system is
backed up by long-term experience of work in Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine,
Belarus, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Mr. Hilaire has headed
over 100 audit and consulting assignments in private and public
sectors. His work experience includes, but is not limited to bank audit
and consulting, enterprise audit, management consulting, equity and
business valuations, general advisory, and others.
